One of the neat things about the Internet is that you can visit our office without ever leaving your home. We want to tell you a little bit about each area so that you might feel more at ease when you first come to see us. After you take the tour, you can meet our staff and learn about them. They're great and they make coming to work something we all look forward to every day.

This is our reception room. It has been designed to help you feel at home and relaxed. Soft pastels of mauve and gray are used in the carpet, walls and the chairs. Full length mirrors at the entrance give a striking effect to the room. For your reading enjoyment, we offer a large selection of magazines and an album of before and after dental treatment that Dr. Bob has done. |

This is our children's area. We have had an arcade game since 1984. Kids and adults love to play this classic pong game. We often hear that children look forward to their dental check-ups so that they can play this game. |
This is our sterilization area. It's where we disinfect and heat sterilize our instruments. We use a state-of-the-art steam heat sterilizer and we monitor its sterility every week through a service at Providence Hospital. We adhere to strict infection control for each dental procedure. We get updates on the latest recommendations on this topic by the American Dental Association. |

Welcome to our main treatment room, called "The Golf Room" because it displays several antique hickory-shafted golf clubs, old golf balls, and early photos of Nicklaus, Palmer, and Player. We have four other treatment rooms so that we are always ready for you if you have an emergency. |
This is our computerized digital radiology system. A special digital sensor, instead of the conventional X-ray film package, is placed in the mouth. This sensor leads directly to the computer and allows the radiation level to be reduced by 90% to almost nothing. Within ten seconds, the X-ray image is displayed on the computer screen. There's no more waiting five minutes to see the X-ray and no need for developing chemicals. You can now see your X-rays on the computer screen. |
You can see your teeth!! Networked into this computer is an intra-oral camera system. A wand-like sheath, covered with plastic, is placed into your mouth for a virtual tour of your teeth and gums. The program allows us to magnify several hundred times for exceptional clarity and early diagnosis of dental disease. It's now much easier for you to understand your dental condition. |
This is our main dental hygiene room where our dental hygienist cleans your teeth. She also does oral cancer exams, periodontal screening, and periodontal procedures required if gum disease is present. We also have another dental hygiene room and two other treatment rooms. |
The hallway along the treatment rooms displays our "Wall of Smiles," a collection of posters detailing esthetic dentistry. You can see before and after photos explaining bonding, veneers, bleaching, and crowns. Take a minute to have a look, which might make you want to change your own smile! |
You are now looking at our panoramic X-ray machine. This cuts down on radiation by capturing all the teeth, jawbone, and TMJ on one picture. It is a comprehensive X-ray that shows us the hard structures of your teeth and entire oral cavity. This panoramic view helps us to catch problems in early stages before they can worsen. |
This is our final stop - our consultation room. It's here that Dr. Bob spends quality time with you on your initial visit to discuss your questions and your dental treatment. It's a very quiet and private room, a place where even dental phobics can feel somewhat at ease during their initial visit. |
