What do you think people notice first when they meet you? Often the first thing they see is your smile. If you don't smile (trying to hide your teeth?), they might wonder if you don't like them or that you are not a self-confident person. A beautiful smile can close more sales than one with crooked or yellowed teeth. I often wondered why many people don't have attractive teeth in this day and age when so much can be accomplished cosmetically. Yet, statistics show that women spend billions of dollars every year on lipstick, rouge, and make-up. Revlon and other cosmetics companies are virtually recession-proof!
Here is a simple checklist for you to evaluate your "dental health power." Complete it and bring it into our office for a surprise! Go into a well lighted bathroom and smile into the mirror.

To make your first dental visit to our office a little less "painful," print out this page, complete the smile analysis, and bring it into our office at the time of your initial examination. For your help, we will give you a smile certificate for $50 off a standard whitening procedure for your upper or lower teeth. Bleaching is the most conservative and easiest way to achieve bright, white teeth. This courtesy is good for any new patient examination. For more information on bleaching, visit our cosmetic dentistry section.
If you really want to change your smile, you'll be surprised at all the options available to you. These range from conservative bleaching to porcelain crowns made so that black lines don't develop at the gum level. Cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers, and cosmetic contouring are other options available. We have a book that can show you various smile designs and we will explain which options would be best for your individual situation. We also can show you on our computer imaging system what your smile would look like if you decided to change it. You have an image that you want to project. If your smile is holding you back, we'd love to help. We've seen many happy patients leave our office with a new smile and a new outlook on life. Give us a call at 771-2230.
